Last week Matt's Grandpa White passed away. He had fought a long, hard battle with cancer. This weekend, along with many others, we will attend his funeral. He was very well respected in his community, and not just because he was a good coach, but because he was a good man. He lived a life that is a worthy example to all. He was patient, concerned about the welfare of others, and willing to help people in any way that he could. He respected others for the simple fact that they were people. How many of us can always say the same? He told Matt that he wasn't afraid of dying because he had never been afraid to live. I hope that I can live to the fullest, without fear. Grandpa will be missed.
